Greta Magnusson was born 1906 in Helsingborg where she started as apprentice at a furniture company Kärnan.  She continued her design education at Tekniska Högskolan in Stockholm. In the early 1930 she stared a company “Studio” at Stureplan in Stockholm.  In 1940 she moved together with her husband Billy Grossman to Los Angeles.

Greta Grossman is famous not only for her furniture but also for her experimental architechture.  Her first villa in Beverly Hills was a breakthrough as architect and was published in Arts & Archtecture.
